It will be happening Thursday, June 5, from 2:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gilles-Villeneuve Skatepark in Chambly.
What kind of activities will there be?
There will be different types of activities for teenagers and families. There will be skateboarding, bike repair, street art, bumper cars from 2:30 to 6:30 pm, dance and even a video creation workshop. People interested will be able to experience filming skateboarding with their phone. Youth can learn to create skateboarding content for social media. In the skate area, you will be able to try something new or show off your skills and if you don’t have a board, you can borrow one. There will be an art zone. People can decorate a shirt, spray some graffiti, make their own stickers, decorate with macarons, etc. There will be opportunity for movement and expression with hip-hop dance too.
